Seza Bali was born in Istanbul in 1982. She received her MFA from San Francisco Art Institute and BA in Fine Arts from The George Washington University. Her work has been exhibited internationally including in Elipsis Gallery, Istanbul; The Center for Fine Art Photography, Fort Collins, CO; Togonan Gallery and San Francisco Airport Museum, San Francisco, CA; UNSEEN Photo Fair, Amsterdam; Contemporary Istanbul 2012 and 2013. She was recognized as a Young Talent in Turkish Photography in 2007 and as a Bay Area photographer to note by SF Bay Guardian in 2010.

She lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey.
